Preparing for Window/Door Installation

Preparing for Your Window and Door Installation Appointment

1 Confirm Your Appointment Ensure the appointment date and time sent via text message is correct. If you need to reschedule, contact us at least 48 hours in advance. 2 Clear the Workspace Indoors: Remove furniture, decor, and other obstructions around the installation areas. Take down curtains or blinds.
Outdoors: Clear pathways to windows and doors. Trim any overgrown plants, shrubs, or trees that could obstruct access. 3 Secure Pets & Supervise Children For the safety of your pets and our installers, keep pets in a secure location away from the installation area.
Keep children and pets away from the work area for their safety and to avoid disruptions. 4 Ensure Easy Access Parking: Provide a parking space close to your home for our installers’ vehicle. Inform us of any specific parking instructions.
Entrances: Make sure all gates, doors, and entryways are unlocked and accessible. If you won’t be home, arrange for someone to be present to grant access. 5 Protect Valuables Move valuable or fragile items away from the installation area to prevent accidental damage.
Our Installers will provide protective covers around the area they are working on, but you can also provide additional covers to any remaining items within the room if you wish. 6 Deactivate Alarm Systems If your windows and doors are connected to an alarm system, contact your security company to deactivate it temporarily during the installation and to reinstall once installation is complete. 7 Post-Installation Checklist Be available for a walkthrough with our installers once the work is completed. They will explain the installation, demonstrate how to operate any new fixtures, and answer any questions you may have. 8 Payment Arrangements If there are any outstanding payments, please arrange to settle these before the installation date. Ensure bank transfers are submitted at least 48 hours beforehand.
